PFAG Joins FIFPRO To Mark International Human Rights Day

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has joined the Global Footballers Union (FIFPRO) to commemorate International Human Rights Day today Sunday, 10th December 2023.

Human Rights Day is observed on the 10th of December each year, and commemorates the day in 1948, on which the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

This declaration proclaims the inalienable rights that each and everyone is entitled to by virtue of being a human being; regardless of race, gender, religion, nationality or status.

The PFAG wishes to use this day to drum home the message of ensuring fair and just pay and working conditions for all footballers across the country and beyond. The Association remains committed to championing the rights of all our members who contribute so much to ensure the world’s largest sport is enjoyed to its maximum extents here in Ghana.

We shall continue in our solidarity engagements with key stakeholders to ensure a level and favourable playing field for all Ghanaian professional footballers plying their trade here in the country and beyond.

As always, the PFAG stands with the players and for the players!
