The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has sent its hearty congratulations to the senior women’s national team, The Black Queens after the team successfully booked their ticket to the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations slated for Morocco next year.
This impressive feat was secured with a hardfaught 3-2 aggregate win over their determined counterparts from Namibia in the final qualification game played yesterday in Pretoria.
The Black Queens have thus marked their long awaited return to the continent’s most prestigious showpiece event, after a five year hiatus.
As mother body of all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG is elated at this remarkable achievment secured by Head Coach Nora Hauptle and her team of dedicated trainers.
The Association has always believed in the capabilities of our Queens, and we wish to take this opportunity to extend a well-earned congratulatory message to each and every member of the playing body. Ayekoo, our Black Queens. Keep up the focus and the hard work!
We wish the team well in their preparations ahead of their appearance at WAFCON 2024.
Rest assured that the PFAG will continue to stand with you and for you all the way to a successful Morocco 2024 and beyond.
Once again, well done to you all our Black Queens of Ghana!
