PFAG Engages GFA on Player Welfare Issues

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has in recent times held purposeful discussions with the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Matters delibereated on centred largely on crucial issues affecting the development of football in the country.

 

Particular emphasis was placed on issues such as player welfare, the introduction of a standardized player contract, and the key role of the PFAG in helping to maximise support for football on the local scene, development of Ghana football in general and funding for the domestic game.

 

As mother body of all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG reiterated its commitment to all considerations aimed at promoting the welfare of the players while also seeking innovative means of further developping the sport we all love in the country.

 

The PFAG delegation was spearheaded by President Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Vice President Joseph Tetteh Zutah, General Secretary Anthony Baffoe and Deputy General Secretary Solomon Torson.

Also present on the ticket of the PFAG were legendary ex-players Asamoah Gyan, John Paintsil and John Mensah among others.

 

The PFAG continues to stand with and for our professional footballers at all times.
