MOROCCO’S U20 WOMEN’S TEAM BEAT BLACK PRINCESSES IN AN INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY

Ghana’s female U-20 team, Black Princesses 1:0 to Morocco U20 women’s team in an international friendly on Thursday, November 26, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Morocco striker, Banouk Safa scored the only goal of the game in the 38th minute to give the visitors victory over the Black Princesses. The Black Princesses put in effort in search of an equalizer but it proved futile.

The Princesses in March bowed to a 3-2 defeat against Morocco in the International Women’s Cup in Sale. Morocco was hoping to have their revenge but unfortunately, the visitors were solid in defence.

The two teams are using the friendly games to prepare for the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifiers in 2021.
The two sides will meet again on Monday, November 30 in another friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.
