Ghana’s Black Queens beat Morocco senior women’s team 3-1 in an international friendly

The senior women’s team of Ghana, the Black Queens beat their Moroccans counterparts 3:1 in an international friendly game played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.

 

The host conceded an early penalty which Chebbak Chizlane beautifully converted to give her side the lead after just five minutes.

 

Immigration Ladies FC playmaker, Faustina Kyeremeh in the 26th minute found the net to equalize for the Queens.

Linda Eshun gave the Black Queens an important lead just before half time with her long free-kick.

The Moroccans were reduced to 10 players after the centre referee, Theresa Bremansu sent off ‪Ouinekh Nawael‬ for challenging her.

Pearlpia Ladies FC Georgina Ayisha Aoyem gave the Queens the third goal to send the visitors packing 63rd minute of the game.
They will play the second leg next week Monday at the Accra sports stadium, 4:30pm behind closed doors. Both teams will maintain their build-up ahead of the 2022 edition, which serves as qualifiers for the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
