PFAG Saddened By Demise of Astute Ex-Football Administrator Joseph Ade Coker

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has learnt with great sorrow of the death this past weekend of Mr. Joseph Ade Coker, a respected former football administrator.

The distinguished domestic football advocate, who also made a name for himself in the country’s political circles was indeed a stalwart of the Ghana Football Association where he served as a one-time Vice-Chairman of the Ghana Football Association.

Perhaps his most influential spell on the football landscape was his tenure as Chairman of Accra Great Olympics Football Club.

Under his stewardship, the “Oly Gbogbo” Club enjoyed a sustained period of stability, success and purpose with a strong focus on unearthing budding local talents and promoting integrity in the sport on the local scene.

The PFAG, as mother body for all professional footballers in the country, is truly saddened to learn of Mr. Ade Coker’s untimely demise.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Ade Coker on behalf of all our members.

We pray for peaceful rest in heavenly glory.
