The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has added its voice to the stance declared by Africa’s mother player union body FIFPRO Division Africa on promoting global peace through sport.

 

Ivorian legend Didier Drogba vocalised FIFPRO Division-Africa’s commitment in a recent interview granted in Paris. In highlighting the role of athletes as role models during the international dialogue organised by UNESCO, the former Chelsea star described the influence of sports as being more than limited to merely games.

 

It serves as a powerful catalyst catalyst to promote values and foster inclusive socities where everyone can thrive.
