PFAG ELATED AS DREAMS FC EARN HISTORIC CAF CONFEDERATIONS CUP SEMI-FINAL SPOT

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has expressed its elation at the remarkable feat chalked by Dreams FC as Ghana’s sole remaining continental campaigner punched their hard-earned ticket to the semi-final stage of the CAF Confederations Cup Competition.

Our reigning FA Cup Champions successfully secured their passage to the final four stage by dispatching Malian powerhouses Stade Malien 3-2 on aggregate after two keenly contested legs.

Buoyed by their impressive 2-1 lead from Bamako, the Dawu-based side kept up their remarkable run by securing a one-all result at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi this afternoon.

As mother body for all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG wishes to commend the entire playing body under the astute technical direction of Head Coach Abdul Karim Zito for a brilliant debut campaign on the continental front.

Kudos to you, Dreams FC and all the best as you lace your boots in preparation for the semi-final fixture against either Zamalek or Modern Future of Egypt.

The PFAG continues to stand with you and for you as you dream big and make history this year.
