Dreams FC Qualify For 2024 CAF Confederations Cup Quarter Finals

Reigning FA Cup Champions, Dreams FC have successfully secured their passage through to the qaurter final stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.

This remarkable feat has been secured despite a narrow 2-1 defeat in their final group phase game away to Rivers United in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Confirmation of the final league log standings came on the back of Club Africaine’s draw against AC Lobito in the other group C fixture on Sunday which has seen Dreams FC claim top spot with Rivers United picking up the runners up slot.

By qualifying for the knock-out stage of the prestigious CAF interclub continental competition, Dreams FC have become the first Ghana Premier League team to achieve the feat since Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko famously went all the way to the grand finale in the competition’s maiden edition in 2004.

As mother body for all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG wishes to commend the entire playing body under the technical direction of Head Coach Abdul Karim Zito for a job well done.

Bravo to you, Dreams FC and all the best as you zoom into the business end of the competition.

The PFAG continues to stand with you and for you as you dream big and make history this year.
