PFAG Wishes The Black Stars Well As Journey to 2026 FIFA World Cup Commences

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has urged the Black Stars to start their journey to the 2026 World Cup on the brightest possible note by securing handsome victories over Madagascar and the Comoros in the coming days.

The Black Stars welcome their Malagasy counterparts to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, before jetting off to tackle the Coelacanths of Comoros four days later.

With a good blend of youth and experience, the PFAG urges our gallant players to rise to the task set by Coach Chris Houghton and his technical team to claim the maximum points on offer and bring joyful smiles to the nation as we commence our march towards the next FIFA World Cup slated for 2026.

As the mother body of all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG is confident that a sterling showing from our gallant warriors awaits on the green turf in Kumasi today.

Indeed, a repeat of our last tussle at the same venue will set the tone for the Black Stars as they seek a 5th appearance at world football’s grandest stage.

The PFAG wishes the entire team the very best for today’s game and throughout the qualification phase.

Our Brilliant Black Stars, we wish you well!!

Rest assured that the PFAG will once more be leading the well wishes, prayers and support for our Black Stars!!

The PFAG stands with you and for you!!
