Head coach of Ghana’s national U-23 team, Ibrahim Tanko, has declared his team is ready for the African U23 Championship qualifying match against Mozambique.
The Black Meteors will depart for Maputo Thursday evening in preparation for their first-leg qualifying match against their Mozambican counterparts.
The first leg encounter is slated to take place on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Estadio Nacional do Zimpeto.
Ahead of the clash this weekend, Tanko reiterated his team’s readiness for the showpiece via PFAG TV.

Ibrahim Tanko oversaw the squad that placed fourth in the 2019 competition, won by hosts Egypt won, ensuring that Ghana would not be participating in the 2020 Olympics.
