PFAG Applauds Black Galaxies For Dispatching Nigeria’s Super Eagles In CHAN 2023 Qualifier

Ghana’s Black Galaxies have taken a firm step towards securing qualification for the 2023 CHAN Tournament after defeating the Super Eagles of Nigeria by two goals to nil in Cape Coast.

Goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu handed the Galaxies sweet victory in front of their excited fans in the first leg of their final WAFU Zone Elimination duel.

In a game that lived up to its billing as being a tightly contested battle between two fierce West African powerhouses, the Galaxies struck twice in the second half to put themselves in pole position for a slot at next year’s domestic continental showpiece event slated for Algeria.

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) wishes to salute Coach Annor Walker and his entire team for mapping up an effective strategy to ensure this first leg victory.

Knowing the technical and playing body as we do, the PFAG is certain that no stone will be left unturned in preparing the team to ensure another favourable result next week at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The Association remains in no doubt that our gallant Galaxies will once again emerge victors and secure their slot at CHAN 2023 in Algeria.

As always, the PFAG stands with them and for them!!
