PFAG urges Black Princesses to go for gold in Costa Rica

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana is rallying the national female under-20 football team, the Black Princesses, to aim for the ultimate prize ahead of their opening game in FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

The Black Princesses will play their first game against the USA on Thursday, August 11,  before taking on Japan and the Netherlands in their subsequent Group D games.

Our wish as an Association is for the Black Princesses, who have qualified for the world cup for the sixth successive time, endeavour to go beyond the group stages this time around, and possibly bring home the cup.

We know the team had been put to test in the build-up to the world stage through all the matches you played, both home and away.

Good luck to our Black Princesses and we are confident they will make us proud.

The PFAG will always be with you and for you!
