PFAG Extends Congratulations to Brilliant Black Stars

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has extended its hearty congratulations to the senior national team, the Black Stars for securing qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana’s gallant Black Stars delivered another excellent performance on Tuesday night to overcome Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium and in so doing, secure a berth at the upcoming quadrennial football fiesta in Qatar.

Skipper on the day, Thomas Partey shot the Stars into a deserved lead, before their hosts drew level from the penalty spot later in the first half. Despite facing a relentless onslaught from the Nigerians, our Stars exhibited their unique resilience and collective determination to emerge as victors and punch their ticket to the World Cup.

As mother body of all Ghanaian professional footballers, the PFAG is elated at the exploits of our members. We have stood in solidarity with the team as they have overcome all challenges to once again put a smile on the faces of all Ghanaians. We wish to say a big “AYEKOOO!” to Coach Otto Addo and the entire technical team, Management and above all the excellent playing body who successfully scaled each qualifying phase to lift the flag of Ghana to greater heights at the end of the day.

The PFAG is thrilled as this latest feat comes against the backdrop of the excellent exploits of our Black Maidens and Black Princesses in securing slots at their respective international football competitions later this year.

Our Brilliant Black Stars! The PFAG hails your noteworthy achievement!! We will continue to stand with you and for you, all the way to Qatar 2022 FIFA and beyond!!!
