PFAG URGES HASACAS LADIES TO DO THE DOOO IN CAF WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has urged Ghana’s representatives at the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League, Hasaacas Ladies, to build on their excellent start and go on to win the competition.

General Secretary of the PFAG, Anthony Baffoe made the rallying call when he paid the team a visit at their camp in Cairo this past week.

The PFAG has been with Hasaacas Ladies on every step of their amazing 2020/2021 campaign so far, as our gallant Ghanaian ladies have conquered all before them in winning the Ghana Women’s Premier League, The Ghana Women’s FA Cup, and the WAFU Zone B tournament.

The PFAG remains confident in the quality and dedication the team possesses under the expert guidance of coach Yusif Basigi, and is in no doubt that they can etch their names in the history books as the first ever queens of African continental club football.

Mr Baffoe, who during his tenure as CAF Deputy Secretary General, was credited as one of the main figures behind the formation of the CAF Women’s Champions League, further encouraged the players and technical team to exhibit their individual and collective talents to showcase themselves and the country to the whole world.

President of Hasaacas Ladies, Nanabanyin Eyison and Team Skipper, Janet Egyir, took turns to thank Mr Baffoe and the PFAG for their continuing encouragement, support and steadfast belief; and assured the nation of putting in their best efforts to realize the dream of ensuring Hasaacas Ladies will be crowned as the first ever CAF Women’s Champions League winners.

As always, the PFAG stands with you and for you!
