The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) wishes to express its deepest condolences to the families of the juvenile footballers who lost their lives after an accident on Saturday 19th September 2020 in the Offinso District of the Ashanti Region.

 

The Association learnt with shock the news of the untimely demise of the gallant youngsters from the Africa Vision Soccer academy, as they returned from undertaking a player registration exercise for the District Juvenile League.

 

The PFAG expresses its sincere condolences to all the bereaved families, the management of Africa Vision Soccer Academy, and the entire Ghanaian football fraternity during this time of immense pain and sorrow.

 

The Association also wishes a speedy recovery to the other injured members of the squad who are currently recuperating in hospital from the various injuries sustained during the accident.

 

The thoughts and prayers of the PFAG remain with these young footballers.
