Leading executive members of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) have paid their last respects to ex- Ghana international Junior Agogo as family, friends and loved ones converged in London to bid final farewell to the former Black Stars striker.
Agogo, who passed away last month, shot to prominence at the 2008 African Cup of Nations held here in Ghana and went on to represent the Black Stars on 27 occasions, netting 12 goals in the process.
The PFAG delegation was led by the General Secretary of the Association, Anthony Baffoe as well as Deputy General Secretary Solomon Torson and Board Member Samuel Osei Kufuor.
The PFAG stands with and for the entire Ghanaian professional football fraternity in paying our last respects to Manuel Junior Agogo.
We wish him peaceful eternal rest in the Lord’s bosom, and pray for continued strength for all loved ones during this difficult period.
