PFAG BACKS BLACK STARS SQUAD FOR 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has thrown its weight behind the final 26-man squad selected to represent Ghana at the FIFA World Cup in North America later this month.

The Black Stars will be making a fifth appearance on world football’s most elite stage, and the PFAG is confident in the ability of our gallant players to make a positive impact at the Mundial.

With a team boasting of seasoned campaigners like Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, and Thomas Partey leading the charge alongside an exciting crop of fresh talents, the PFAG has every belief in the chances of our Stars under the guidance of Coach Carlos Queiroz to take the world by storm.

We wish our Stars all the best, and we believe the unfortunate injuries to certain key players prior to the Tournament will only serve to motivate the rest of the squad to excel and hoist the flag of Ghana ever higher.

The Black Stars will begin the World Cup Group L campaign against Panama in Toronto on the 17th of June before crossing paths with England and Croatia in Boston and Philadelphia, respectively.

As always, the PFAG stands with and for our Black Stars as the road to World Cup 2026 looms ever closer.
