Designed to offer a very challenging training environment to provide elite athletes, male and female, the opportunity to return to the professional game or prepare for the upcoming season.

The word ‘out-of-contract’ to any footballer is not words of comfort. Not knowing if you’ll be scooped up by another club is daunting, and the situation can be described as dire. Several players will, possibly, find themselves unemployed at the end of the season

To prepare our members for the next opportunity, The 8-week training programme provides players with an elite club pre-season environment, with high-intensity technical, tactical and physical preparations on the field.

In addition to the on-field training, the players would be guided on future contracts when joining a new club, financial literacy education, careers after football and other player-related matters

The training camps have proven to support and prepare players that have resulted in many participants going on to sign new deals with premier league and first division clubs before the start of the season.

The pre-season programme is fully funded by the union and developed with the support of the members of the PFAG. Registration to participate each year is open in June.
