On the occasion of International Women’s Day, today March 8, the Professional Footballers’ Association of Ghana (PFAG) extends its warmest greetings and deep appreciation to all the remarkable women who continue to grace our beautiful game, both locally and on the international stage.

 

This year’s theme, “Give is to Gain,” strongly reflects the PFAG’s ongoing commitment to highlighting and celebrating the outstanding contributions of our female members to the growth and development of football in Ghana.

Through their courage, skill, resilience, and determination, Ghanaian professional women footballers have proudly carried the flag of our nation onto football pitches across the world, inspiring generations and demonstrating the immense potential of women in sport.

 

As the mother body for all Ghanaian professional footballers, the PFAG proudly recognizes the invaluable role women play not only in football, but also in shaping our society, culture, and professional landscape. Their dedication continues to enrich Ghana’s football heritage and strengthen the future of our beautiful game.
