Black Princesses Progress to Final Phase of FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has expressed its joy at the latest feat chalked by the national U-20 ladies’ team, the Black Princesses.

Our determined damsels secured progression to the final phase of the U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers with a hard-fought 3-2 aggregate win over their South African counterparts on Saturday afternoon.

Midfielder Priscilla Mensah’s calm finish at the Mbombela Stadium propelled Head Coach Charles Sampson’s ladies beyond their determined hostesses to secure a final round clash against Uganda.

As mother body for all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG wishes to extend its warmest congratulations to our Princesses and backs them to channel their confidence and momentum to secure a record-extending eight straight appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in September 2026.

Congratulations once more.

As always, the PFAG continues to stand with you and for you!
