The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) expresses its deepest sorrow over the tragic loss of eight distinguished Ghanaians who passed away in the line of duty on Wednesday, 6th August 2025.

The devastating news of the military helicopter crash has plunged our nation into profound grief. The PFAG joins the entire country in honouring and paying tribute to these remarkable gentlemen for their service and dedication.

On behalf of our members, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Anala, Flying Officer Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo.
