The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has expressed its elation at the great feat chalked by the Black Queens, as our senior women’s national team successfully booked their ticket into the “final four” at the ongoing 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Ghana secured a well-deserved semi-final slot of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after a dramatic 4-2 penalty shootout victory over Algeria in the Stade Berkane to set up a mouthwatering semi-final meeting with hosts Morocco.
The Black Queens have thus marked their long awaited return to the continent’s most prestigious showpiece event by giving themselves a real shot at ultimate glory.
As mother body of all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG wishes to extend its hearty congratulations to the team led by Head Head Coach Kim Bjokegren. The Association has always believed in the capabilities of our Queens, and we wish to take this opportunity to extend a well-earned congratulatory message to each and every member of the playing body.
Kudos for securing yourselves a seat in the “Final Four” reckoning. The PFAG asks that you keep up the focus, belief and hard work!
We wish the team well in their preparations ahead of their next game against hostesses, Morocco.
Rest assured that the PFAG will continue to stand with you and for you all the way through Morocco 2024 and beyond.
The PFAG: With them, smd for them!
