The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has thrown its weight behind CAF’s groundbreaking juvinile football competition slated to take place in Accra from the 23rd to the 26th of April, 2025.
The CAF African Schools Football Championship is an annual African schools association football competition which focuses on developing organised football at school level on the continent for boys and girls.
As the University of Ghana Stadium prepares to host the third edition of this commendable event, the Organising Contingent paid a courtesy call on the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) at our office on the premises of the Accra Sports Stadium.
General Secretary of the PFAG, Anthony Baffoe, warmly received the Team on behalf of the PFAG and stated during fruitful discussions that the Association will continue to support such innovative programmes aimed at unearthing and developing football talents throughout the continent.
The tournament will be preceded by a number of comprehensive capacity-building programs, including a young reporters’ workshop and workshops on safeguarding, coaching, safety, and security. A program for young referees will also be held.
Buoyed by the support of our passionate home supporters, the PFAG is hopeful that Team Ghana will successfully navigate its way to the ultimate glory in both the boys and girls categories.
