A delegation from the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) was in attendance over the weekend to commiserate with family, friends and loved ones of our dearly departed member, Hans Kwofie.
The PFAG delegation which was led by General Secretary Anthony Baffoe was in attendance at the final funeral rites of the former Ghana Premier League top scorer at his hometown of Dompim Pepesa, near Tarkwa in the Western Region.
As mother body for all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG assured the family of Hans Kwofie of our continuous support as we join various stakeholders to provide a befitting burial and to bid a fond farewell to the once prolific centre forward.
Having excelled during his playing days for the likes of AshantiGold, Hearts of Lions, Legon Cities and Aduana Stars, there is no doubt that Ghana football has truly lost a gem.
With extremely heavy hearts, the entire membership of the PFAG wishes Hans Kwofie a peaceful eternal rest in the Lord’s bosom.
We pray for continued strength for all loved ones during this difficult period.
PFAG: With Them and For Them.
