PFAG Congratulates Ghana Football Awards Victors

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has extended its congratulations to all deserving winners at the Ghana Football Awards Night held this past weekend.

 

On a night where the stars of our game assembled to acknowledge the brilliant exploits of the country’s top professonal footballers, Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudud made history by winning the ultimate accolade, the Footballer of the Year Award for the 2023/2024 season.

 

West Ham’s starboy excelled in the year under review to deservingly clinch the ultimate diadem for the second successive season, beating off stiff competetion from Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku from Leicester City, and Osman Bukari of Red Star Belgrade.

 

Other winners on the night included Jennifer Kankam Yeboah of ZED FC in Egypt who was adjudged Women’s Footballer of the Year, Nurudeen Amadu and Yussif Basigi who were awarded Men’s and Women’s Coaches of the Year respectively and FC Samartex’ Emmanuel Keyekeh and Mukarama Abdulai of Hasaacas Ladies winning Home-based Footballers of the Year in the male and female categories.

 

The PFAG continues to throw its support behind events which recognize the hardwork and efforts of all professional footballers in the country. It remains our belief that this is a sure way to encourage our players to continue giving off their best for mother Ghana.
