PFAG MOURNS THE DEATHS OF HANS KWOFIE AND WILLIAM ESSU

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of two of our professional footballers, Hans Kwofie and William Essu within the past couple of weeks.

Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Kwofie died in a car accident on Friday, whereas Goalkeeper Essu passed away at the UCC Hospital after battling an illness.

As mother body for all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG wishes to express its deepest condolences to the families and all loved ones at this difficult moment.

On behalf of all our members, we would like to express our sympathy and extend our prayers for strength and preservation for their respective families.

Even in these moments of despair, all members of the Association continue to stand in solidarity as plans commence to ensure our two dearly departed colleagues are accorded a befitting farewell.

May the souls of Hans Kwofie and William Essu rest in peace.
