Four-time African Champions, the Black Stars of Ghana, have been drawn in Group B of the 2023 African Cup of Nations slated for Ivory Coast next year.
The Black Stars are sure to shine bright in a group which contains record winners Egypt, Mozambique and the Cape Verde Islands.
The Black Stars will be chasing a fifth Continental title after last lifting the AFCON Trophy in 1982, and qualifying for the grand finals on three additional occasions in the history of the prestigious tournament.
The group stage draw, held in the Ivorian capital Abidjan, set the stage for what could prove to be an arduous yet rewarding journey for our Black Stars highlighted by the heavyweight clash against the Pharoahs of Egypt, as well as the games with the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde and the returning Mambas from Mozambique.
