The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has urged the senior national home-based team, the Black Galaxies to aim for the ultimate as the team laces up its boots to kickstart their participation in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2022 in Algeria.
Head Coach Annor Walker and his team will slug it out with Madagascar, Sudan and Morocco in Group C, as they seek to annex the trophy for the first time in our country’s history.
Confidence remains undoubtedly high in camp following an impressive qualification campaign that saw the Galaxies comprehensively account for Benin and Nigeria en route to the Continental showpiece taking place in Algeria.
This has been followed by a good period of pre-tournament preparatory games, in which the team has emerged unbeaten after four keenly contested matches.
As mother body for all professional footballers in the country, the PFAG has stood with the team as they secured qualification to the Tournament for the first time since 2014.
The Association firmly believes in the ability of our gallant men to soar to even greater heights during the CHAN Tournament.
We wish the entire team of players and technical handlers the very best. The whole country is backing you to return as ultimate victors.
As always the PFAG stands with you and for you throughout the Algeria 2022 CHAN Tournament!!
