Ghana’s Black Galaxies have wrapped up a comprehensive 4-nil aggregate win over the Squirrels of Benin to secure qualification for the final round of elimination matches for the Championships of African Nations, CHAN 2023, scheduled for Algeria next year.

 

By virtue of this victory, the Galaxies will now cross swords with arch rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria after recording a hard-fought 1-nil win away in Benin over the weekend.

 

The winner of this mouth-watering West African derby game will secure a ticket to CHAN 2023 in Algeria.

 

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) congratulates Coach Annor Walker and his team for overcoming their Beninoise counterparts. The Association maintains its unwavering belief that the Black Galaxies will follow this up by eliminating the Super Eagles of Nigeria, and secure Ghana’s first appearance at the CHAN tournament since 2014.
