The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has expressed its delight at the double dose of recognition duly accorded to Black Princesses skipper Evelyn Badu at the 2022 CAF Awards Ceremony in Morocco.
Badu, who wowed all and sundry at last year’s inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League Tournament was crowned the Continent’s Best Inter-Club Female Footballer and also beat off stiff competition to scoop up the accolade for the Women’s Young Player of the Year.
The PFAG as mother body for all Ghanaian professional footballers wishes to extend its warmest congratulations to our brilliant Black Princess for her scintillating performances which helped to propel Hasaacas Ladies to even greater heights both domestically and internationally. Her exemplary exploits which earned her a move to Avaldsnes IF in the Norwegian league, have also endeared her to the hearts of all football loving enthusiasts in the country.
The PFAG notes with great contentment the huge strides being made by Evelyn Badu, and we congratulate her on this latest feat. The Association is in no doubt that these accolades are richly deserved, and will only serve as a launchpad on to greater successes on both the personal and team levels for Badu.
We continue to encourage her and all our other members to continue to excel and to shine even brighter for the National teams whenever they don the nation’s colours!
The PFAG remains with you and for you!!
