Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC beat rivals, Hasaacas Ladies FC on penalties to win the 2021/2022 Ghana Women’s Premier League on Saturday evening, 28th May, 2022 at the Accra Sports stadium.

 

The Northern Zone champions came from a goal down to end the unbeaten run of the 2021 WAFU Zone B qualifiers champions to clinch their third league title (2015/2016, 2016/2017 and 2021/2022) .

 

Ampem Darkoa Ladies won 5-4 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 after 120 minutes to secure the trophy and book a ticket to represent Ghana in Africa.

Success Ameyaa gave the Sekondi side the lead before Ampem Darkoa also equalised from the spot converted by Comfort Yeboah in the 25th minute.
