Ghana Black Queens forward Samira Suleman has been rewarded for her wonderful performance by her club, Sindri Football Club in the Icelandic league as she made it into the League’s Best XI at end of the season.
She picked two awards at her club’s end of the season awards. She was voted as the club’s Most Valuable Player for her performance throughout the season and the Goal Queen award.
Speaking to PFAG communication, the talented baller says 2020 has been challenging year.
“Difficulties are sometimes blessing in disguise. I’m very grateful to Allah and everyone at Sindri football club for the wonderful award especially my teammates, technical team and the amazing supporters. This is simply one of the important scenes in my professional career. My self-believe will certainly be improved and also give me more duties to improve my work in the future “-she revelaed.
“The year has been tough for many people especially those in the football industry. Playing without supporters was not fun but our safety and health comes first. On personal note, it was a year of blessing. I worked a lot and also learned a lot.I am thankful and grateful for everything”-she added.
The former Hasaacas Ladies FC skipper scored six goals in 10 matches in the Iceland women’s second division this season.
