The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) will once again give professional footballers in the country the opportunity to vote for their preferred stars to be recognized as members of the lucrative FIFPro World XI 2018.

 

The results of the worldwide voting process will be announced in London on the 24th of September at “The Best FIFA Football Awards” ceremony. The top eleven footballers, as determined exclusively by their colleague professionals will consist of 1 Goalkeeper, 4 Defenders, 3 Midfielders and 3 Forwards.

 

Players are to select their preferred choices based on their exploits throughout the 2017/2018 season in club competitions and FIFA organized international outings, chief amongst which was the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

 

Domestic-based professional footballers will once again vote in this historic process thanks to the efforts made by the PFAG in ensuring that all Ghanaian professional footballers across the length and breadth of Ghana are able to partake in the voting process.

 

“The Best FIFA Football Awards” is an annual glamorous awards night celebrating the greatest performers in the world’s most beautiful sport, football. The awards night will be held in London for the second straight year, and promises to be a truly exceptional occasion.
