The local based senior national team, “Black Stars B”, have begun their quest for West African regional football supremacy.
The 23 gallant warriors, selected for their excellent club performances in the Ghana Premier League, are expected to deliver the ultimate diadem at the WAFU Cup Competition currently ongoing here in Ghana.
Sixteen of West Africa’s finest national football teams have converged in Ghana for the first edition of the sub-regional tournament organized by Fox Sports Network.
The games will be played in two beautiful coastal cities, Elmina and Cape Coast.
The PFAG, home to all of Ghana’s professional footballers, wishes the Black Stars B team the very best as they wage war on the other competing nations in a bid to emerge as ultimate victors.
It is our belief that under the expert guidance of head coach Maxwell Konadu, the Stars will shine brightest and be crowned as WAFU 20I7 Champions.
We also wish all members of the organizing team, as well as the teeming supporters at the stadia, a thoroughly enjoyable fortnight of football fiesta.
