The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) had the pleasure of hosting Bibiani Gold Stars FC on 21st of August 2025 at our office in Accra.
The visit was more than just a tour. It was an opportunity for the players to connect with their union, learn more about the services and support available to them, and experience firsthand the home that represents footballers across the country.
Led by their coaches and team leaders, the Gold Stars players were taken through the purpose of the PFAG Standard Player Contract, a document designed to protect their rights and ensure fairness in their professional journey. They also engaged in meaningful conversations about life as players, the importance of collective representation, and the need to always put their welfare first.
The highlight of the visit was a candid interaction between the players and PFAG executives, where ideas were shared and the union’s role in safeguarding their careers was reinforced. The players also had the chance to cast their votes for the prestigious FIFPRO World 11, joining millions of footballers worldwide in celebrating excellence in the game.
This visitation was a strong reminder that football is not only about the action on the pitch, but also about unity, education, and empowerment off it. At PFAG, we remain committed to ensuring that every player, be it local or international feels supported, represented, and valued.
