The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) Player Relations team visited Samartex\u2019s FC male and female teams as part of its ongoing player engagement and education efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sessions provided players with useful information on the role of PFAG and how the Association supports and represents professional footballers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Key areas discussed included contracts, players\u2019 rights and obligations, SSNIT, life after football, out-of-contract training, and the various ways players can reach out to PFAG for support and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While most of the male players were already familiar with PFAG and its work, the engagement with the female team also provided an opportunity to connect with some players who are new to the team and introduce them to the work and support of PFAG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The players welcomed the engagement and had the opportunity to learn more about the support available to them throughout their football careers and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
