We deeply admire how Semenyo responded\u2014demonstrating extraordinary strength and composure by continuing to play and scoring two brilliant goals. As he rightly noted, \u201cFootball showed its best side when it mattered most,\u201d turning a moment of hate into one of unity, compassion, and sport\u2019s true spirit.<\/p>\n

PFAG unequivocally condemns racism in all its forms. Racist behavior has no place in football\u2014or in society. We commend the swift action by Merseyside Police, who arrested a 47-year-old suspect on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offense, and the ongoing investigation by the Premier League and other authorities.<\/p>\n

To Antoine: your courage continues to inspire. PFAG stands with you, ready to offer any assistance or support you may need. We also use this moment to urge football clubs, governing bodies, fans, and communities to continue working together to eradicate racism from the beautiful game once and for all.<\/p>\n
