{"id":3989,"date":"2025-06-06T13:20:23","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:20:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/?p=3989"},"modified":"2025-06-06T13:20:23","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:20:23","slug":"pfag-partners-with-kwesi-nyantakyi-to-inspire-hope-among-nswawam-prison-inmates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/index.php\/2025\/06\/06\/pfag-partners-with-kwesi-nyantakyi-to-inspire-hope-among-nswawam-prison-inmates\/","title":{"rendered":"PFAG Partners With Kwesi Nyantakyi To Inspire Hope Among Nswawam Prison Inmates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of our commitment towards enhancing humanitarian efforts in line with our corporate social responsibility, the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has partnered with former president of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi to launch the \u2018Prison Football Project\u2019 at the Nswawam Prisons in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This commendable initiative aims to use football as a tool for reformation, empowerment, and reintegration of inmates of the Nswawam Medium Security Prison into society using the values of the beautiful game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the Project was highlighted by the constellation of football stars who heeded the call of their mother body, the PFAG in extending their support to the worthy cause.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Led by the Association\u2019s President, Samuel Osei Kuffour, and General Secretary, Anthony Baffoe, the PFAG delegation included renowned national stars including John Mensah, Kwame Ayew, Augustine Ahinful, Sam Johnson, Emmanuel Armah \u2018Senegal\u2019, Mallam Yahaya, Maxwell Konadu, and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, among others.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3991\" src=\"http:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG-20250605-WA0037-300x213.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG-20250605-WA0037-300x213.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG-20250605-WA0037-600x425.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG-20250605-WA0037-1024x725.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG-20250605-WA0037-768x544.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pfag.com.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG-20250605-WA0037.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Emmanuel Agyeman Badu and Saeed Adnan rolled back the years as they donned opposing jerseys to join in the lively friendly match between Blocks 2 and 3 which ended 2\u20130 in favour of Block 2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The day\u2019s activities ended with impassioned speeches admonishing the inmates to hang on to hope and aspire for better life outcomes once they were released from confinement.
