The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has been acknowledged in its continuing efforts to ensure fair and impartial treatment for all Ghanaian professional footballers.<\/p>\n

The latest commendation came to light when FIFPRO Legal Director, Roy Vermeer, provided an update on the ongoing arbitration processes involving ex-Kumasi Asante Kotoko player Solomon Sarfo Taylor.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The former Porcupine Warrior was served with a 3 year ban by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for allegedly falsifying registration documents leading to the revocation of his players license by the GFA\u2019s Disciplinary Committee.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Mr Vermeer in a recent interview highlighted the key leading role played by the PFAG in ensuring the full involvement of FIFPRO, the worldwide player\u2019s representative organisation in the case.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He underscored that in as much as neither body wants a dispute with the Football Association, some circumstances surrounding Sarfo Taylor\u2019s case were rather questionnable and required detailed review.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
FIFPRO will continue to work closely with the PFAG and the player\u2019s camp to ensure a fair and befitting conclusion is reached in the matter.<\/p>\n
