The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has paid glowing tribute to Joseph Tetteh Zutah, as the experienced midfielder called time on an outstanding playing career over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Captain Zutah, whose exceptional performances, exemplary leadership and dedication to service made him a firm fan favourite throughout his fifteen year stint as a player for Medeama Sporting Club, bid a fond farewell to the teaming fans at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa during the Ghana Premier League Matchday 16 clash between Medeama and Samartex on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Zutah was accorded a guard of honour as he strode onto the pitch in the dying embers of the game to contribute his final quota to Medeama\u2019s course as they secured an impressive two-nil victory on the day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Zutah was last year elected as the vice president of the PFAG, and has over the preceeding years excelled in his exploits both on and off the pitch.<\/p>\n
He bagged a degree from the University of Cape Coast while delivering masterful performances on the pitch for his clubside.<\/p>\n
Zutah is also well renowned for his tireless and passionate work on behalf of his fellow players especially as a member of the PFAG.<\/p>\n
