We seek a dedicated Player Relations Officer to join the PFAG to manage and enhance relationships between our players and the organization.
The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of football and player needs, and a commitment to creating a supportive and efficient environment for our members.

Position: Player Relations Officer
Location: Kumasi
Job Type: Full time
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Player Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for players, addressing their needs, concerns, and queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with players, coaches, clubs and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise, mediating discussions between players and management when necessary.
• Organize and coordinate player-related events, including club visitation, meetings, and other engagement initiatives.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on player relations metrics, trends, and issues, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Psychology, Communication or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the sports industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with player management systems.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Knowledge of professional football or the sports industry is advantageous.
