PFAG Overseeing FIFpro World XI Voting Process in Ghana

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has once again provided the opportunity for Ghanaian professional footballers to cast their votes for this year’s FIFpro World XI ahead of FIFA’s The Best awards gala slated for Milan in September this year.

The PFAG has over the past few years offered the avenue to all professional footballers plying their trade in the country to be a part of this landmark event.

This year is no different; and the Association is currently in the process of sending out, supervising and collating hundreds of voting forms filled out by our members across the length and breadth of the country.

Members of both the Black Stars B and Black Satellites national teams, as well as players from Accra Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Real Tamale United are among the host of players who have already handed in their votes so far.

Many more of our local professional footballers will also be given their opportunity to cast their votes in the coming weeks.

Each player is to pick their best line-up comprising of one Goalkeeper, four defenders, three Midfielders and three Forwards based on their performances during the 2018/2019 season.

All votes will be forwarded to FIFpro, the global footballers representative union, before the worthy winners are awarded at FIFA’s The Best awards ceremony slated for September in Milan, Italy.
