PFAG Commends Winners at the Ghana Football Awards Night

The PFAG will like to extend its congratulations to all individuals and organizations who won awards at the maiden edition of the Ghana Football Awards, held over the weekend in Accra.

 

The topmost award on the night went to Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, who was adjudged the footballer of the year. Other big winners on the night included Yusif Abubakr who won the Coach of the year award, Priscilla Adubea, Female footballer of the year, Thomas Abbey, home-based player of the year, and Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, recipient of the Thumps Up award.

 

Ex- Ghana international, and General –Secretary of the PFAG, Anthony Baffoe was adjudged worthy winner of the Living Legend accolade in recognition of his huge contributions to the development of Ghana football.

 

The PFAG continues to support such events which recognize the amazing efforts of all professional footballers in the country. It remains our belief that such events will go a long way to encourage our players to continue giving off their best for mother Ghana.
